Khaberni - In an emotional and heartfelt atmosphere, artist Monther Rayahneh revealed the individual poster for the series "Years of Darkness," in which he participates, in preparation for its exclusive showing on the platform during the holy month of Ramadan.
The poster launch coincided with a moving message Rayahneh directed to the late author of the story, Badr Al-Mutairi, the owner of the true story upon which the work is based, where he stated:
"The departed friend, Badr Al-Mutairi, who left without a farewell... This is your story emerging into the light which you departed to... 'Years of Darkness' is a story of the hell of prison, the scars of injustice, and a scream for the search for justice and hope."
Rayahneh's message received wide interaction on social media platforms, as the audience considered it a tribute to a friend who passed away before seeing his story transformed into a dramatic work documenting real human suffering and highlighting an issue filled with pain, patience, and perseverance.
"Years of Darkness" is a grand Kuwaiti drama production that delves into a real story reflecting the harshness of prison conditions and explores the depths of the human psyche between pain and hope. The series is directed by Mohamed Salama, and stars a group of Kuwaiti actors alongside Monther Rayahneh, in a collaboration that is expected to be a significant addition to Gulf drama in the Ramadan season.
The series is expected to be shown exclusively on the Shasha platform in Ramadan, amidst great anticipation from the audience, especially after revealing the poster which carried an intense dramatic character reflecting the atmosphere of the work and its profound messages.
With this work, Monther Rayahneh continues his strong presence in Arabic drama, affirming that "Years of Darkness" is not just a series, but a human testimony born from suffering to illuminate the path of truth.
