Alimony of 5000 EGP A new judicial ruling regarding Mahmoud Hegazy

Khaberni - The Family Court in 6th of October City, Giza, issued a ruling obliging Egyptian artist Mahmoud Hegazy, to pay child support for his child, amounting to five thousand Egyptian pounds monthly, in the lawsuit filed by his wife Rana Tarek.

Rana Tarek filed an appeal against the court decision, claiming that the estimated amount is far less than her child's expenses, besides that it does not match the monthly income of the artist Mahmoud Hegazy.

This is not the first crisis between Mahmoud Hegazy and his wife, as in March last year, the Misdemeanour Court sentenced Mahmoud Hegazy to 6 months imprisonment, with bail set at 5,000 EGP, and obligated him to pay a provisional civil compensation amounting to five thousand EGP, in the case brought against him for assaulting his wife Rana Tarek.

Rape case
On another note, the artist Mahmoud Hegazy faces another case where a foreign girl of Egyptian descent accused him of assaulting her and attempting to rape her in one of the major hotels in Cairo, and the case was referred to the public prosecution which began investigations, released him on bail pending the case, and then referred Hegazy to the competent criminal court.

It should be noted that Mahmoud Hegazy is a young Egyptian artist born in Cairo in 1989, and graduated from the Institute of Theatrical Arts after studying acting and directing.

Hegazy participated in many artistic works, including the movie "Karmouz War" and "Friday Market" and "Forced Escape", and the series "Kalabsh" and "Saraya Abdeen" among other artistic works.
