Kim Kardashians Comedy Series Canceled After Years of Development

Khaberni - In a surprising move, Hulu decided to stop working on the comedy series Group Chat, co-produced by Kim Kardashian, although it has been in the development stage for more than two years.

According to media reports, the platform rejected the pilot episode of the series, which was based on the book The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness by star La La Anthony.

The project had been announced as a joint collaboration between Kim Kardashian and 20th Television, while it was written by Kenya Barris, known for his successful works such as Black-ish.

It was planned for La La Anthony to star in the series, with Kim Kardashian appearing as a guest and narrator of the events, alongside a number of stars, including Yaya Dacosta, Melanie Liburd, Rebecca Rittenhouse, and Stephanie Sugaanami.

The plot revolves around a successful crisis manager in San Francisco, whose life changes abruptly after a scandal involving her husband, leading her to start a new journey with the help of her friends, in a story that combines emotional challenges, professional issues, and motherhood matters.

Despite the project's cancellation, the collaboration between Kim Kardashian and La La Anthony continues as they are currently working on developing a new comedy series for Hulu, written by Tracy Oliver.

In another context, Kim Kardashian continues her humanitarian work, as she announced plans to auction off the first season's outfits from the series All’s Fair in a charity auction, aiming to support various humanitarian initiatives.
