Khaberni - Lulwa bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Khater, the Qatari Minister of Education and Higher Education, announced during her speech at the Qatar Excellence in Science Award ceremony the implementation of the fingerprint system electronically by next September in all Qatar schools to enable parents and the ministry to monitor student attendance and enhance their security, safety and their speed of access.
The Qatari Minister said in a speech: In the context of addressing operational challenges, a presence project was developed, in partnership with Mowasalat (Karwa), a system of technological solutions to improve the monitoring of student attendance in buses and schools.
She added: The system is currently being applied experimentally in 6 schools, as a precursor - God willing - to its expansion, and the electronic fingerprint system will also be implemented - God willing - by next September in all state schools, enabling parents and the ministry to follow student attendance and enhance their security and safety and their speed of access.
