Khaberni - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed on Saturday that the United States, in the era of President Donald Trump, wants to lead the global "renewal and restoration".
Rubio said at the Munich Security Conference, "The United States is driven by a vision of a future that is proud, sovereign, and vibrant, matching the past of our civilization".
He added, "While we are ready if necessary to do this on our own, we prefer and hope to do it with you, our friends here in Europe".
He noted that the United Nations does not play "any role" in resolving conflicts and that his country seeks not to divide NATO but to "stimulate" it.
He considered that the United States and Europe are "destined to be together," noting that he does not know if Russia wants to end the war in Ukraine.
