Khaberni- Today, Thursday, "Hayat FM" radio lighted its twentieth candle since its foundation, in a ceremony sponsored by the Speaker of the House, Pasha Mazen Al-Qadi.
Al-Qadi said: “I am honored to stand before you today on an occasion that holds in its folds meanings of pride and gratification, an occasion marking twenty years since the launch of Hayat radio, which was founded and launched with a clear vision to be a purposeful and impactful societal media platform, developing its community and nation, and striving to spread goodness and societal awareness to achieve a good life in our Jordanian society.”
During the celebration, Al-Qadi affirmed that media is an essential partner in the national building process, emphasizing that the strength of the state lies in the cooperation of its authorities and the awareness of its people and responsible free media. He warned of the dangers of rumors and attempts to incite discord, considering that the “battle of awareness” is no less important than other battles to defend Jordan, and that accuracy and media responsibility constitute the first line of defense for the home front.
He emphasized that the Palestinian cause will remain in the consciousness of every Jordanian, and that Jordan's position is firm and steadfast in supporting the Palestinian brethren and their legitimate rights, affirming that the cohesion of the national fabric is the safety valve in facing regional challenges.
In turn, Engineer Musa Al-Saket, the founder and chairman of the board of directors at Hayat FM radio, mentioned that the journey of “Hayat” radio over twenty years began with a media message biased towards truthful speech and the issues of people, noting that it wanted from its inception to be a voice for life and goodness and the pulse of the nation, and to adopt the concerns of the community and address them in a way that preserves human dignity and enhances values of belonging.
He explained in his speech that the radio kept pace with the latest media and technological methods, presenting a variety of programs targeting children, youth, women, and families, utilizing experts and specialists in various fields, which contributed to establishing its presence as a significant media phenomenon whose experience is taught in Arab media academies.
He noted that “Hayat” has evolved to become a comprehensive media group that combines radio broadcasting, television, and digital on communication platforms and (IPTV) around the clock, affirming its commitment to maintaining its moderate centrist approach, preserving societal fabric, and serving the nation under the Hashemite leadership.
On his part, Engineer Ahmad Khater, the general manager of Hayat FM radio, confirmed that its twenty-year journey made it a voice for life and goodness, the pulse of the nation and people, noting that it “sprouts love and determination, shines hope, resonates belonging to the homeland, captures the pulse of people, addresses their needs, presents their voice, adopts their issues, and works on solving them in a manner befitting their humanity and preserving their dignity,” considering its audience as the “beautiful face of the earth, its original soil, and its noble heart.”
He elucidated that the media journey of the radio has evolved to become a “media group that gathered ether and televised broadcasting on social media and in digital television IPTV in continuous broadcasting around the clock,” noting that its news and thematic programs have become a reference sourced by news agencies.
A group of official figures and media personalities attended the event, amid an atmosphere dominated by the spirit of celebration and pride in the journey of “Hayat FM” radio, which reaffirmed its commitment to its media mission and serving the Jordanian community.
