Khaberni - It seems that a person ultimately becomes what he repeatedly does if his daily habits do not help avoid this.
According to a new study, there are widespread examples of habits that rob a person of all his happiness if he allows them, according to a report published by Marc & Angel, including:
1. Surrendering to negative circumstances
A person can try to use frustration and annoyance as a motivation instead of letting it disturb them.
Instead of anger, look for the lesson; instead of envy, feel admiration; and instead of worry, take action.
A person must remember that their reaction is always stronger than their current circumstances, and that a small part of one's life is determined by circumstances completely beyond one's control, while their reactions determine the larger part of it.
The study added that the results a person achieves largely depend on how they deal with the circumstances put before them.
2. The desire to control
A person should be selective in using their energy. If they can solve a problem, they should do it. If they cannot, they should accept it and change their perspective on it.

It is essential not to waste human energy on trivial matters or imaginary ideas, especially when real events happen, which are the strongest moments of life when a person finds the courage to let go of what cannot be changed.
3. Holding on to the past
A person is different than they were a year ago, a month ago, or even a week ago, as they are constantly learning and growing, and life constantly evolves.
Once again, although he cannot control everything that happens, he can control how he sees it. By doing so, he will gradually master change instead of being controlled by it.
There is always room for a new idea or a next step, but the person must first accept the fact that things may never return to what they were, and that this end is actually a new beginning.
4. Refusing to forgive oneself
When a person forgives themselves for the wrong decisions made in the past, the times they lacked understanding, and the choices that inadvertently harmed others and themselves, they gain valuable lessons.
And most importantly, always be ready to grow and develop through all the experiences and challenges they have faced.
5. Always being satisfied with the status quo
There are likely thousands of people who live their entire lives in the status quo, never realizing that they can change everything. However, a person should do what they are good at with passion, humility, and honesty, and strive towards it a little every day, regardless of others' opinions. This is how dreams are achieved.
6. Resisting ideas
For real long-term progress, a person must give up the assumption that they hold all the answers.
Thus, they should never stop learning, investing in themselves, and connecting with others, including those who disagree with them, while taking the opportunity to ask questions whenever possible.

7. Constantly pursuing fleeting satisfaction
There are two types of satisfaction in life: fleeting and enduring.
The transient type arises from moments of material comfort, while the enduring kind is gained through gradual growth and development in matters that truly matter to the person.
It can be hard to distinguish between them at first, but over time, it becomes clear that the permanent type is far better, so one must remember, if something entertains them now but will hurt them one day, it is distracting. Therefore, one should not be satisfied with less and replace what they deeply want with what they superficially want at the moment.
8. Constant concern about the successes of others
A person should focus on their own success and achieving real accomplishments instead of merely following the success stories of others and how things went for them, to the extent that they forget to write their own story.
Amazing changes occur when a person decides to change themselves and prioritize their future.
This means that they must refuse to allow others to think, speak, and make decisions on their behalf. It also means learning to accept their thoughts and instincts and using them to chart their path, day by day.
9. Fear of minor failures
A person can fail dozens of times to succeed. No matter how many mistakes they make or how slow their progress, they are still ahead of everyone who does not try.
They should not pin their hopes on a few failed attempts, thus missing out on hundreds of other successful possibilities, especially since all the ideas that do not succeed are just steps towards the successful idea.
10. Waiting for the "perfect moment" for the next step
There is no doubt that waiting for the perfect moment is a trap some fall into, as moments are not perfect, but are what one makes of them. Some wait for perfect circumstances to achieve their life goals.
Instead, one should learn to see life's flaws and use them as steps for progress.
