Khaberni - The Russian government announced today, Thursday, a complete ban on the famous messaging application "WhatsApp", stating that the ban was due to the application's non-compliance with the country's communication laws and regulations.
The Russian government said in a press statement: "The ban was implemented because WhatsApp was not willing to comply with the Russian legal rules and regulations regarding the implementation of measures to slow down access speeds to the WhatsApp application".
It clarified: "If the company meets the conditions and participates in the dialogue, the two parties may reach an agreement regarding the possibility of resuming services.".
