Khaberni - The results of the basketball and beach volleyball championship, organized by the Sports Federation of Universities in the Aqaba Governorate, were announced in an exceptional sporting atmosphere that reflected the spirit of positive competition in college sports.
The Secretary of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities, the Dean of Student Affairs at Middle East University, Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour, awarded the trophies and medals to the teams that ranked in the top three positions, praising the technical level displayed by the participating teams.
In the basketball competitions, Princess Sumaya University for Technology won first place, followed by the University of Jordan in second place, while the third place was shared by Al-Hussein Technical University and the German Jordanian University.
In the beach volleyball competitions, Princess Sumaya University for Technology also secured first place, with the University of Jordan achieving second place. Yarmouk University took the third place, along with Jadara University sharing the third position repetitively.
The Commander’s Championship is part of the efforts by the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities to support university sports, provide a competitive environment that helps hone students' sporting skills, and enhance communication and interaction among universities, positively reflecting on the university sports movement across different governorates.
