Khaberni - The general secretary of the board of directors of Al-Nassr Saudi Club Company, Mohammad Al-Skeet, the executive director of governance, compliance, and risk, submitted his official resignation from the board membership.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadhia" explained that Al-Skeet justified his step by personal circumstances, without providing additional details about its reasons.
This resignation comes in the context of a series of reformative moves recently announced by the company, where sources within "Al-Alami" (the global) revealed an upcoming reassignment of full administrative and financial powers to the Portuguese José Semedo, the CEO, and his countryman Simão Coutinho, the sports director, after a period of freezing some powers.
A previous decision issued on December 31 last froze Semedo's powers and withdrew the financial disbursement powers from individuals, limiting financial approvals to the committee officially formed by the board only, affecting some administrative and sports movements.
In the framework of efforts to restore stability, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the team captain, received promises from the company's management to address the problems experienced in the past phase, notably settling the financial arrears of the club's employees, aimed at calming the internal atmosphere and enhancing harmony.
