Khaberni - Turki Al-Sheikh, the head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, posted a sarcastic tweet after the Egyptian football team’s four-goal victory over their Saudi counterparts on Friday evening.
The friendly match between the Egyptian and Saudi teams was held in Jeddah on Friday evening in preparation for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in June.
Following that, Al-Sheikh retweeted a sarcastic comment by one of the commentators saying: "Of course, Ibrahim Fayiq (an Egyptian media personality) won't be able to celebrate or talk about Egypt's 4-0 win over Saudi today, better to find himself transferred to the Nile Educational Channel."
Ibrahim Fayiq hosts a sports television program on the Saudi channel "MBC Egypt2".
The Egyptian team achieved a resounding victory over their Saudi host, scoring 4 goals without reply in the international friendly match held on Friday evening, in preparation for the FIFA World Cup finals.
The "Pharaohs" team advanced with three consecutive goals in the first half scored by the players: Islam Issa, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, and Ahmed Sayed Zizo at minutes (4, 16, 44) respectively.
