Khaberni - The Greater Amman Municipality has announced the implementation of temporary traffic diversions starting from 8 PM today along Zahran Street, in the area between the Sixth Roundabout and the Seventh Roundabout, due to an accident involving the pedestrian bridge over the Sohaib Tunnel.
The Municipality clarified that the traffic diversions include rerouting traffic coming from the Sixth Roundabout to the right towards Medina Street, and traffic coming from the Seventh Roundabout towards the Agencies Street, and also towards the Sohaib Tunnel leading to Medina Street.
The Municipality indicated that these measures are taken out of concern for public safety, to enable technical teams to inspect the bridge, assess damages, and conduct necessary repairs, confirming that its personnel, in collaboration with the Traffic Police, will manage traffic movement at the site to alleviate congestion.
The Greater Amman Municipality has urged drivers to abide by traffic instructions and warning signs, and to use available alternative routes, noting that the road will be reopened upon completion of the required works.
