Widespread Demolitions in Gaza and 125 Martyrs Since the Beginning of the Second Phase

Khaberni - 3 Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire, which raises the total number of martyrs to 125 since the start of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, while Israeli bombing and demolition operations continued extensively across the territory today, Friday.

A Palestinian was martyred outside the areas of the Israeli army's deployment in Jabalia town, and another was martyred near the yellow line in Beit Lahia, according to medical sources.

Palestinian sources reported the martyrdom of a Palestinian by occupation forces' gunfire inside their deployment areas in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis city in the southern sector.

While the Nasser Medical Complex announced the martyrdom of a Palestinian by occupation forces' gunfire, the Israeli army stated that it killed an armed individual who approached its soldiers near the yellow line in the southern sector.

Demolition and bombing in Khan Yunis
Palestinian sources reported that a Palestinian was injured and dozens of homes were damaged due to an Israeli aerial bombardment on a 4-story house in Khan Yunis refugee camp, simultaneously with extensive demolition operations targeting buildings to the east of Khan Yunis.

According to Anadolu Agency, the occupation army raided the house, completely destroying it and causing significant damage to adjacent buildings and the tents of displaced persons, injuring at least one Palestinian due to shrapnel that flew long distances.

Israel: We were subjected to gunfire in northern Gaza
Meanwhile, informed sources reported a Palestinian was injured in the Zeitoun neighborhood outside the occupation's deployment areas, adding that occupation forces carried out raids in their deployment areas east of Deir al-Balah in the center of the sector, while Israeli vehicles fired heavily at areas under the army's control in Rafah city.

Al-Aqsa Channel reported that Israeli helicopter gunships opened machine gun fire towards the northern and eastern areas of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army in a statement said that its forces were subjected to gunfire from what it described as "terrorists" on Friday night in the yellow line area in northern Gaza, with no reports of injuries, according to the statement.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health, in its daily statistical report of victims on Thursday, informed that 27 martyrs and 18 injured arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours, while the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 10 last year reached 574, and the injuries amounted to 1518.

Over the past two days, Israel conducted intense airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip, alleging the response to an injury of one of its soldiers.

Despite moving to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in mid-January, Israeli attacks and crimes against Palestinians in Gaza continued.

Violations of the first phase
According to Anadolu's monitoring, the first phase of the agreement (95 days) recorded 1244 Israeli violations, resulting in the martyrdom of 449 and the injury of 1246 and the arrest of 50 Palestinians.

The violations included 402 cases of direct gunfire at civilians, and 66 incursions of military vehicles into residential areas.

They also included 581 operations of bombing and targeting citizens and their homes, and 195 operations of demolitions and destruction of homes, institutions, and civilian buildings.

125 martyrs in the second phase

During this period, 150 cases of gunfire at civilians, 7 incursions of military vehicles, 123 operations of bombing and targeting citizens and their homes, and 26 operations of demolitions of homes and various buildings were recorded.

In addition to the daily bombardment, Israel prevents the entry of food, medicine, medical supplies, and shelter materials agreed upon to Gaza, where about 2.4 million Palestinians, including 1.5 million displaced persons, live in catastrophic conditions.
