Khaberni - On the sidelines of the FITUR International Tourism Exhibition in Madrid, the General Director of the Tourism Promotion Authority, Ramzi Al-Muayta, met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, Sheikha Al-Nuweis, in the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador to Spain, Raghad Al-Saqa, and several senior officials of the organization. During the meeting, they reviewed the diverse Jordanian tourism product, reaffirmed the commitment of the Kingdom to sustainable tourism and the protection of cultural and natural heritage.
The two parties also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in capacity building, tourism data development, tourism site management, and reiterated the significance of continuing the partnership to support sustainable tourism development and human capital development, agreeing to continue the dialogue and support joint initiatives that serve the future of the tourism sector.
