Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yusuf Ahmed Al-Hunaity, received on Thursday in his office at the General Command, the Special Advisor for British Defense Affairs in the Middle East, Lieutenant General Edward Algreen and the accompanying delegation.
Major General Al-Hunaity discussed with the guest the regional and international developments affecting the area, and ways to develop the relations of joint military cooperation in various fields, within the framework of the strategic defense partnership between the two countries.
For his part, Lieutenant General Algreen expressed his appreciation for the significant efforts made by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in establishing security and stability in the region and the area, emphasizing his country's keenness on expanding the horizons of joint military cooperation.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and the British Defence Attaché in Amman.
