Khaberni - The Telegraph reported that the management of Manchester City has put together a shortlist that includes three candidates to succeed Pep Guardiola at the end of the current football season.
It stated that there is an increasing belief that this season will be the last that the Spanish coach will spend at the helm of the technical staff at Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola's contract with Manchester City ends in June 2027.
It was noted that "The Philosopher" has spent ten years leading the team, which reached the pinnacle of Europe and has dominated the English Premier League for years.
However, reports suggest that Pep Guardiola's story with City is nearing its end, and it is very likely that the final line will be written next June.
The Telegraph mentioned that the management of the English giant has placed 3 prominent names to succeed Guardiola in coaching the first team, starting from the next season.
The shortlist includes Xabi Alonso, former coach of Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen, Enzo Maresca, former Chelsea coach and former assistant to Guardiola at CTID, along with Cesc Fabregas, coach of Como, who is leading a football revolution in the Italian league.
