The Football Association begins accepting media accreditation requests to cover the World Cup

Khaberni - The Football Association has started receiving media accreditation applications for the 2026 World Cup coverage, according to the instructions of the International Federation.
The Football Association is committed to ensuring active and organized participation of the Jordanian media in covering the World Cup, in line with the national team's historic first participation.
The association today, Wednesday, announced the application conditions, among the most important of which are obtaining a media accreditation card for local tournaments from the Jordan Football Association in advance, submitting a written commitment from the media institution to cover dispatch costs (visas, travel tickets, accommodation, and transportation), adhering to the instructions and regulations of the International Federation regarding media accreditation, and the commitment to professional coverage according to media ethics.
The association clarified that accreditation applications are to be submitted via email: [email protected] with an attached photo of the accreditation card for local tournaments and the written commitment from the media institution.
The association pointed to the necessity of creating or updating a media account on the FIFA Media Hub platform and receiving an access key (control key) after the application is approved by the Jordan Association.
The football association indicated that if the number of media accreditation requests exceeds the quota allocated to the Jordan Football Association, priority for granting the access key will be given to official media institutions and daily newspapers, then other institutions.
It is mentioned that the last date to receive media accreditation requests via the federation's email is the first of March next year, and the final date for submission through the FIFA platform will be the 31st of March next year.
The Nashama team is preparing for their first-ever participation in the World Cup, where they are placed in the tenth group alongside the teams of Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
