The company received this certification after passing comprehensive auditing processes, which included reviewing policies, procedures, and approved systems, and a comprehensive evaluation of occupational health and safety practices, including several stages such as gap analysis, review of the existing safety system, documentation and preparation of general safety guidelines, training phase including system dissemination and employee training, internal audit phase to review performance for error correction, in addition to the final audit phase.
It is worth mentioning that Zain recently received the EDGE certification for green buildings granted by the International Finance Corporation affiliated with the World Bank Group and in cooperation with ((GBCI), becoming the first telecommunications company in the kingdom to obtain this prestigious international accreditation, reaffirming its commitment to applying the highest global standards in energy, water, and materials efficiency, and adopting responsible operational practices that contribute to reducing the environmental impact and enhancing institutional sustainability.
