Memorandum of Understanding between Amman AlAhliya and the Pharmacists Syndicate

Khaberni -  Amman Al-Ahliya University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Jordanian Pharmacists' Syndicate, in the context of enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides, serving the pharmaceutical education sector and advancing the professional practice of pharmacists in the kingdom.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of Amman Al-Ahliya University by the university president, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, while it was signed on behalf of the Jordanian Pharmacists' Syndicate by the head of the syndicate, Dr. Zaid Al-Kilani, in the presence of the dean of the Pharmacy College, Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib.
Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan confirmed that this memorandum is in line with the university’s vision of enhancing partnerships with national professional institutions, noting that Amman Al-Ahliya University pays special attention to developing academic and training programs that meet the needs of the job market.
For his part, Dr. Zaid Al-Kilani explained that the memorandum of understanding represents an important step towards the organization and development of training programs for pharmacists, serving the requirements for renewing professional practice licenses and enhancing professional standards. 
In turn, Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib pointed out that this memorandum will positively reflect on the students and graduates of the College of Pharmacy, through organizing joint courses, cooperation in scientific research, and holding workshops and scientific conferences, confirming that the college continuously works to align its educational outputs with modern professional requirements.
The memorandum of understanding stipulates coordinating the conduct of joint training courses for pharmacy graduates on necessary topics for renewing their practice licenses, tracking course files, obtaining necessary approvals from accredited health authorities, besides cooperation in the fields of scientific research, organizing scientific activities, and supervising the implementation of the agreed-upon training programs.
