Signing a Cooperation Agreement Between the Jordanian Electricity Company and the Jordan Engineers Association

Khaberni - Today, Tuesday (3-2-2026), the Jordan Electricity Public Shareholding Company Limited and the Jordan Engineers Association signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing the areas of training and qualification and developing the professional capacities of the engineers, contributing to their integration into the job market and improving their technical efficiency.

The agreement was signed by the general manager of the Jordanian Electricity Company, Engineer Hassan Abdullah, and by the Jordan Engineers Association, the head of the engineers, Engineer Abdullah Asem Gousheh, in the presence of the deputy head of the engineers, Engineer Ahmad Al-Falahat, and several members of the association’s council, the general secretary, assistant general secretaries, along with representatives from both sides.

The general manager of the Jordanian Electricity Company, Engineer Hassan Abdullah, emphasized the importance of this agreement, pointing out that the Engineers Association represents the home of engineers and the first expertise house in the Kingdom, and that cooperation with it enhances the exchange of experiences and contributes to building engineering competencies capable of supporting the energy sector, and achieving development and sustainability goals.

Engineer Hassan Abdullah mentioned that the company views this partnership as a model for integration between national institutions, serving the public interest and enhancing investment in human engineering capital.

On his part, the head of the engineers, Engineer Abdullah Gousheh, affirmed that this agreement comes within the framework of the national and professional role undertaken by the association in developing the skills of its members and opening new horizons for them, emphasizing that partnerships with major national institutions are a fundamental lever to enhance practical experience, and enable engineers to keep up with the evolving job market requirements.

Meanwhile, the deputy head of engineers, Engineer Ahmad Al-Falahat, praised the cooperative relations with the Jordanian Electricity Company, confirming that the association’s council is keen on networking with various institutions and continuous communication to open training and employment prospects for engineers.

Under the agreement, engineers will be trained in their fields of specialization at the company and its related projects, supervised by responsible supervisors, and provided with all possible information and experiences in a manner that contributes to enhancing their practical efficiency.
