Khaberni - Arab Bank has recently supported the events of the Orphan Day program in cooperation with the Charity Clothing Bank- Hashemite Jordanian Charity Organization, in both the capital Amman and Tafilah Governorate. This event is part of the annual support that the bank provides for this initiative.
The program aims to support orphan children across the kingdom by organizing monthly visits to clothing galleries, conducting interactive recreational activities, and distributing various gifts to children. This support falls within the bank's community responsibility strategy and embodies its ongoing commitment to making a tangible and sustainable impact on the lives of those most in need in the society.
During this event, clothing, shoes, and toys were distributed to more than 210 boys and girls in the clothing bank's showrooms in Amman and Tafilah. Bank employees volunteered in activities related to the initiative and interacted with the children through various events, which helped to create a positive environment that enhanced social communication and the spirit of cooperation among the children.
It is noteworthy that the Charity Clothing Bank, since its establishment in 2013, has served more than 2,011,814 beneficiaries and distributed over 9,429,469 pieces of clothing. This is done through programs targeting all beneficiary groups from the National Aid Fund and charitable associations, providing those services through clothing galleries in Amman and Karak.
It should be mentioned that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy on sustainability and community responsibility, reflecting the bank's commitment to enhancing its economic, social, and environmental impact by working closely with various related entities to achieve sustainable development. The Arab Bank's community responsibility program "Together" represents one of the outcomes of this approach, a multifaceted program focused on developing and nurturing various aspects of society through diverse initiatives and activities that serve several sectors including health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women empowerment.
