Khaberni - Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Amman Al-Ahliyya University, visited the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels, where he met Professor Dr. Anne Wimbergue, Vice-President of the University for External Relations and Development Cooperation, to discuss ways to enhance academic cooperation between the two universities.
During the meeting, they reviewed the areas of cooperation that have been established since 2019 and discussed prospects for their development, especially in the fields of student and faculty exchange, joint research, and academic exchange programs.
Dr. Hamdan confirmed that the visit is part of Amman Al-Ahliyya University's commitment to expanding its international partnerships, noting the importance of cooperation with ULB in enhancing the quality of education and boosting opportunities for students and faculty members.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Delphine Louwers, responsible for international partnerships at the International Office at ULB, and Dr. Fairouz Abu Sweilem, Director of the Global Liaison Center at Amman Al-Ahliyya University.
The president also met with a number of Amman Al-Ahliyya University students currently participating in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program at ULB, including: Layan Shaheen, Lin Zahran, Judi Barqawi, and Rama Al-Jalad, and reviewed their academic experience and level of integration into the university environment, reaffirming the university's ongoing support for them in international exchange programs.
Both parties reaffirmed their joint commitment to enhancing internationalization and developing sustainable and long-term institutional cooperation, which benefits students, faculty members, and researchers at both universities.
