Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the most recent of which occurred on Saturday, resulting in the ascent and injury of dozens, a blatant breach of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, and a serious escalation that undermines regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the sector.
The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, confirmed the kingdom’s absolute rejection and its strong condemnation of these violations, the necessity of adhering to the ceasefire agreement, and full implementation of its terms according to President Donald Trump's plan, the execution of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, and the prompt, sustainable, and unimpeded entry of aid into the sector, and the implementation of the second phase of the agreement.
Al-Majali called on the international community to fulfill its legal and ethical responsibilities and ensure Israel's compliance with the ceasefire agreement, emphasizing the need to avoid any steps that undermine efforts to calm the situation, and to progress towards a clear political horizon that embodies an independent and sovereign Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative.
