Khaberni - Today, on January 30th, Jordanians celebrate the sixty-fourth birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II, where the Jordanian success story emerges as a tableau that integrates the visionary royal vision with the solid will of the youth, remaining the supreme approach in supporting entrepreneurship and excellence, the compass for young energies to follow, and a clear proof that achievement has no ceiling, and that investing in the Jordanian human is the real wealth and the fundamental pillar for building Jordan.
His Majesty King places Jordanian youth at the heart of national priorities, stemming from his deep belief that they are the engine of progress and the future of the nation. This support is evidenced by his continuous efforts to empower them and channel their energies into paths of comprehensive modernization, and he continuously emphasizes the importance of benefiting from the ideas and suggestions of the youth in the development process and overcoming economic challenges, emphasizing that Jordanian youth provide inspiring success stories through entrepreneurial projects and developmental initiatives, a approach that His Majesty translates into action by motivating outstanding models and networking between their creative ideas and available opportunities for building a more prosperous Jordan.
On the sixty-fourth birthday of His Majesty, the Jordanian News Agency "Petra" selected Jordanian examples that embodied the impact of royal support and motivation in empowering people with disabilities, transforming their ideas and aspirations into tangible accomplishments on the ground.
One of these examples is the engineer Hadeel Abu Soufeh, the General Manager of the Al-Mu'asirun Bag Manufacturing Factory, who participated in the royal meeting that gathered His Majesty the King with a group of Jordanian industrialists in 2025, indicating the importance of empowering women, especially women with disabilities, and enhancing their presence in the industrial sector.
Abu Soufeh told Petra that her meeting with His Majesty was a pivotal moment in her professional and human journey, and that it was not just an honor, but a real motivator to take on greater responsibility. She felt that His Majesty sees the capabilities before the challenges, focusing on what the youth can offer to the nation regardless of disabilities or circumstances.
Professionally, Abu Soufeh mentioned that the meeting with His Majesty strengthened her belief that the industrial sector can be more inclusive and equitable, and that women, especially women with disabilities, are not just support elements but leaders and decision-makers, emphasizing that her vision has become clearer towards developing an inclusive industrial environment that invests in efficiency and commitment, and opens opportunities for women and people with disabilities to be active participants in production, not marginalized.
She pointed out that the meeting increased her determination to transform her personal experience into a practical model, proving that real empowerment begins with trust and ends with tangible accomplishments on the ground, and that women are decision-makers and their presence in high positions makes a difference, and increases exports.
Abu Soufeh mentioned that the support and motivation provided by His Majesty the King to young people and industrialists are the cornerstone in transforming ideas into real economic achievements, and that his support is not limited to financing or initiatives, but includes a clear moral message: that the state stands behind everyone who works, strives, and innovates.
She said, "When a young person or industrialist feels that the leadership believes in him, the idea transforms from a dream to a project, and from a project to a job opportunity, and from a job opportunity to added value for the national economy, which directly reflects on reducing unemployment, enhancing local production, and empowering the most vulnerable groups, especially women and people with disabilities," pointing out that she presented during the meeting a proposal to His Majesty about solutions regarding land freight costs and reducing them to enable industrialists to enter neighboring markets at competitive prices.
In the same context, another Jordanian success story that reflects the impact of royal motivational support in empowering youth, represented by the young Muhannad Al-Sayouf, a digital content creator widely popular in the Arab world, whose royal support was a motivator for his career, as His Majesty King Abdullah II honored him with the Silver Jubilee Medal in 2024, a model that reflects the impact of this support in empowering youth, including those with disabilities, in transforming their experiences into impactful success stories.
Al-Sayouf said that the honor of His Majesty, by awarding him the Silver Jubilee Medal, was a moment of great pride, not just for him personally, but for everyone who believed in themselves despite the challenges, affirming that this recognition reinforced his belief that effort is rewarded, and that the journey that started from scratch reached its goal.
He added that the medal carried greater responsibility to continue and provide deeper and more truthful content closer to people, considering it an honor and trust that must be matched, pointing out that royal support sends a clear message to youth that the state recognizes their capabilities and believes in their potential, and that difficult circumstances or tough beginnings do not determine their ends, and that this support opens the door for youth to transform their experiences and challenges into achievements that inspire others and encourage them not to give up.
Al-Sayouf pointed out that digital content creation has become the language of the era and an influential tool in shaping awareness, as it is no longer limited to entertainment, but has become a means to convey messages and serve the community, shedding light on important issues in a sincere and close-to-people manner, asserting that content creators, through their style and values, reflect their country's image, and that sincere content can convey a positive and genuine image of the homeland, and that it is more impactful than any advertisement because it reaches from heart to heart.
In another pioneering Jordanian model that embodies the impact of royal support and motivation in empowering youth, Rawan Barakat, the founder of the "Raneen" project, managed, thanks to this support, to develop her project into an influential initiative at the national and Arab levels, where she was honored in 2009 with the King Abdullah II Award for Youth Innovation and Creativity, enhancing her journey and expanding the impact of the initiative, which aims to develop listening skills and communication among students, and establishing an audio library for children's stories in Arabic.
She confirmed that the continuous support of His Majesty the King for youth was a fundamental incentive to unleash their energies and transform their ideas into tangible projects, pointing out that her personal experience with the lack of appropriate educational resources for blind children inspired her to launch the "Raneen" project, which offers audio libraries in an interactive dramatic style to enhance learning and imagination skills among both blind and non-blind children.
She mentioned that receiving the award was a real inspiration to develop her project from an individual initiative to a community institution impacting a wide range, pointing out that her project has won numerous awards and honors at the Arab and international levels, such as the Synergos Award for Social Innovators, the Ashoka Fellowship for Social Innovation, and the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak International Arab Youth Award, in the category of pioneer and youth supporter institution.
Barakat pointed out that her journey also enjoyed continuous royal recognition, as His Majesty King Abdullah II honored her in 2015 with the Hussein Medal for Distinguished Service, Second Class, in appreciation of her community contributions and her pioneering role in serving issues of childhood and people with disabilities.
Regarding her "Raneen" project, Barakat said that the number of audio stories produced exceeded 52 stories, and that her project reached schools, educational centers, and even refugee camps, benefiting thousands of children, pointing out that her experience reflects the extent of the impact of royal support in empowering Jordanian youth, as such support is not limited to symbolic honors, but translates into real opportunities for growth, creativity, and achieving tangible achievements that benefit the entire community.
She referred to the continuous support of His Majesty the King for people with disabilities as having a significant impact in enhancing their rights and empowering them in Jordan, noting that His Majesty's opening of the Third Global Disability Summit 2025 highlighted his interest in supporting the rights of people with disabilities and enhancing their opportunities in society.
