Khaberni - Russian President, Vladimir Putin, confirmed today, Thursday, his country's commitment to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital to ensure security and stability in the Middle East.
Putin said during a press conference: "Russia is committed and its position is firm and clear regarding the Palestinians' right to establish an independent state in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions and international law. The basis for stability in the central Middle East region lies in the implementation of international decisions to establish a fully sovereign Palestinian state".
