AlAmoush Filming deputies conversations under the dome is a violation of privacy

Khaberni - Dr. Hussein Al-Amoush, the head of the Parliamentary Guidance and Information Committee, called on press photographers not to aim their cameras at the deputies' phones or their conversations under the parliament dome, considering it a "violation of privacy".

Al-Amoush said during an intervention in a parliamentary legislative committee meeting on Wednesday that deputies uphold press freedom and media work, but filming private correspondences is unacceptable, questioning: "Would anyone be pleased to be filmed while messaging their spouse?"

He pointed out that such practices do not fall under professional journalistic work, urging media institutions to replace photographers who intentionally film the deputies’ conversations.
