Khaberni - Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shara is making an official visit to Russia on Wednesday, where he is due to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin Palace in the capital Moscow.
The Media Directorate at the Syrian Presidency stated that "President Al-Shara will meet President Putin to conduct talks on ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as to discuss the developments in the Middle East region."
President Al-Shara visited Moscow on October 15 last year, and discussed with President Putin at the Kremlin the bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to enhance strategic cooperation in various fields, and a broad session was held which brought together both presidents with the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides, during which ways to enhance mutual cooperation between Syria and Russia in various sectors were explored.
