Khaberni - Several people were injured due to the Democratic Forces of Syria (SDF) targeting Syrian army sites and homes in the areas of Ain al-Arab and Serin subdistrict with suicide drones, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).
SANA stated that the SDF targeted more than 25 FPV type suicide drones.
The Syrian Army Operations Authority stated that this escalation by the SDF also led to the destruction of 4 army vehicles.
The Operations Authority also mentioned that the organization targeted the M4 route and surrounding villages several times, resulting in several civilian casualties.
The Operations Authority confirmed that the Syrian army is currently considering its field options in response to the targeting of residents and its deployment sites and will do what is necessary.
The Ministry of Defense announced last Saturday the extension of the ceasefire period across all Syrian army operation sectors for an additional 15 days, in support of the American operation to evacuate ISIS terrorist organization prisoners from SDF prisons to Iraq.
