Yarmouk Water replaces a sewage line that caused a sewage flood in Irbid

Khaberni  - Yarmouk Water Company started today, Sunday, to replace a sewage line in the northern district of Irbid to address the problem of sewage flooding fundamentally, according to the company spokesperson, Moataz Obeidat.
Obeidat said that the sewage line being replaced is old, extending from the roundabout at the Electricity Company office towards the north for 350 meters, and it recently suffered a blockage that caused a sewage flood over the past few days, necessitating technical intervention by the company's staff, according to Petra.
He added that the replacement works are part of the company's plan to improve the infrastructure of the sewage networks and reduce frequent malfunctions, asserting that the works are being carried out according to the highest technical standards and as quickly as possible, while minimizing the impact on traffic movement and citizens.
Obeidat called on citizens to cooperate with the company's staff during the execution period, noting that the company continuously follows up on citizens' observations and complaints and works on addressing them to ensure the improvement of service quality.
Residents of the northern district in Irbid complained about the flow of sewage in vital streets following the sewage line flood in the area, which caused foul odors and suffering for both residents and business owners.
