Khaberni - The Ministry of Social Development begins on Sunday, replacing 15,000 unsafe heaters with safe heaters for deserving families, as part of the “Safe Winter” campaign launched by the ministry since the beginning of the winter season.
Minister of Development Bani Mustafa said that the initiative aims to protect families and ensure their safety, noting that the replacement requires the delivery of old heaters for the purpose of their destruction.
Bani Mustafa added that the ministry has instructed its social development directorates to start receiving heater replacement applications, noting that the ministry has prepared lists and will begin distributing heaters to them on Sunday.
The cabinet had decided to assign the Ministry of Social Development to replace 15,000 unsafe heaters with safe ones for the deserving families and allocate the necessary funds for this, through the social development centers in the provinces and Tkiyet Um Ali, within the framework of social protection, as part of the "Safe Winter" campaign that started at the beginning of the winter season.
The decision continues the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development and the relevant ministries that are made during the winter season each year as part of the many initiatives and programs carried out to support deserving families.
