Brazilian President Trump Wants to Establish a Parallel United Nations He Absolutely Controls

Khaberni  - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said that U.S. President Donald Trump wants to establish a "new United Nations" that he would control "completely".

Reuters quoted the Brazilian president as saying, "President Trump proposes to create a new organization for the United Nations, which he would own alone and be under his absolute control."

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva criticized Trump's new initiative, "Peace Council", considering it an attempt to create a new version of the United Nations to control it.

Lula expressed skepticism about Trump's intentions during a recent event.

Lula refrained from directly naming Trump's initiative, but he raised doubts about its purpose and potential impacts on international diplomacy.

According to Lula, Trump's proposal to create a "new United Nations" could contribute to consolidating influence and disrupting the current global order, prompting him to question the motives behind the "Peace Council".

U.S. President Donald Trump had previously announced the formation of the "Peace Council" concerned with the Gaza Strip.

The President's administration has sent invitations to participate in this council to leaders of about 50 countries, and many of these countries have publicly stated in recent days that they received the invitation from the American president.

The list of invitees included countries from various regions, from Australia to Japan, as well as Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and many Arab countries. On Wednesday, the President's special envoy, Steve Whitcov, reported that Washington had obtained the agreement of 20 to 25 countries to participate in the council’s activities.
