Former Minister Jordans presence in the Peace Council is necessary

Khaberni - Former Minister of Government Communications, Mohannad Mubaideen, said that the Jordanian understanding always moves towards the supreme national interests.

Mubaideen added through  "Al-Mamlaka" that Jordan's temporary or permanent membership in any institution is determined according to its national interests, as Jordan moves towards interests that ensure the stability of the region and enhance its role in making international decisions.

Jordan and achieving its national interests

Mubaideen pointed out that Jordan moves in the direction that supports its national interests and makes it part of the international decision.

He added that Jordan cannot be absent from central issues such as the conflict in Gaza and the Palestinian cause.

He said: "It is unacceptable for Jordan to remain distant from pivotal issues related to Gaza and the Israeli occupation, which imposes on Jordan to be part of the decision related to the future of the Palestinian cause."

The necessity of Jordan's presence in the Peace Council

Mubaideen stressed that Jordan's presence in the Peace Council is necessary, especially in light of the Gaza war and the Palestinian cause, which represents a cornerstone in the ongoing conflict in the region.

He added: "Jordan must be present in the global scene and be part of making international decisions, a step necessary to keep up with geopolitical shifts and support the Palestinian stance."

Jordan's firm position in supporting the two-state solution

In the context of supporting the Palestinian cause, Mubaideen said that Jordan has been able to present clear and explicit viewpoints to the Americans about the necessity of maintaining the two-state solution as a sustainable solution for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

He added: "Jordan strongly supports Palestinian rights and emphasizes the importance of protecting solutions that ensure stability and peace in the region."

The American effectiveness in international conflicts

Mubaideen discussed the role of international actors in solving conflicts, emphasizing that American activity cannot be overlooked in resolving conflicts worldwide from 1950 to the present.

He said, "The American corridor is essential for relationships and building understandings to end conflicts in the region, as well as being responsible for supporting Israel in various issues."
