Khaberni - A public opinion poll conducted by the American Research Group (ARG) showed that President Donald Trump's support rate among Americans has dropped to its lowest level since the beginning of his second term.
According to the poll, Trump's support rate reached 35%, while 63% of participants expressed a negative opinion towards the policies of the current American president. This means a net decrease in the support rate by 28 percentage points, which is the lowest level recorded by ARG since Trump's return to the White House.
Regarding the evaluation of Trump's economic policy, 32% of Americans agree with his work, while 64% disagree.
Among the 35% of Americans who said they agree with Trump's performance as president, 19% believe that the national economy will be better within a year, 21% think it will remain the same, and 53% expect it to deteriorate.
Trump's support rate among Republicans was 75%, while his opposition rate was 24%. Among Democratic Party supporters, only 1% expressed their support for Trump's performance as president, while 98% expressed a negative opinion.
The poll was conducted from January 16 to 20 and involved 1100 American adults nationwide. The margin of error was not specified.
It should be noted that Trump himself regularly speaks about the success of his policies. He has previously described the first year of his second presidential term as "amazing," stating that he doesn't believe any previous American leader has achieved such success, according to him.
