After his conviction for assaulting children The third death sentence for Turubini El Beheira in Egypt

Khaberni - The Damanhour Criminal Appeals Court in Egypt, on Thursday, sentenced a worker from the city of Kafr El Dawar to be hanged, on the basis of his accusation of assaulting young children, in the case known in the media as «Turubini Kafr El Dawar».

The verdict came after the court reviewed the last session of the case, having completed its legal proceedings, examined the case files and the incidents and accusations attributed to the accused, who works in one of the areas of Kafr El Dawar in Beheira Governorate.

The court had previously decided to refer the case files to the Grand Mufti of the Republic, to seek the religious opinion concerning the execution of the death sentence against the accused, setting January 22 as the date for receiving the religious report and issuing the verdict, while continuing the detention of the accused pending the case.

The details of the case go back to a previous verdict issued by the Damanhour Criminal Court, First Circuit, held at the Itay El Baroud Primary Court, where it was ruled on September 27, to execute the accused Mohamed Saber El Sayed, famously known as «Aroure», by hanging, after convicting him of kidnapping a child by deceit, detaining him, and assaulting him within the city of Kafr El Dawar.

The rationale of the verdict at that time confirmed the charges attributed to the accused through evidence and investigations, marking this the third case in which the death sentence is passed against the accused known in the media as «Turubini El Beheira», based on incidents related to assaulting minors.
