After the suspension of the syndicate Freezing the assets of the singer Muslim due to theft

Khaberni - Egyptian investigative authorities have implemented a decision to seize the bank accounts of the folk singer Mustafa Zakaria Mohamed, known artistically as Muslim, after he was accused of stealing a melody from the poet Mahmoud Amara.

The lawyer Yasser Qantoush, representing the poet Mahmoud Amara, known as Mido, filed a lawsuit against the singer Muslim on charges of using the song "Lesa Feekoa Nafs Tqawuha" without referring to its original owner.

Qantoush demanded monetary compensation for the damages resulting from the exploitation of the melody, confirming that the work was released to the public and achieved profits without mentioning the name of the poet or obtaining his approval.

It is worth mentioning that the Syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt had announced in November (November) 2025 the suspension of the singer Muslim and banned him from singing due to non-compliance with the regulations governing union work.

The syndicate clarified in an official statement that the decision came after examining the complaints filed against him for violating the applicable rules, where it was decided to terminate his annual permit and ban him from practicing the profession.

The syndicate attributed its decision to the multitude of complaints from concert organizers due to the singer’s non-compliance with the agreed timings and contract terms, with the decision being circulated to all establishments, event organizers, and relevant authorities.
