Symptoms that Require Stopping Vitamin D Intake

Khaberni - "Vitamin D" is one of the most common dietary supplements, and many people make sure to take it daily to maintain bone and muscle health and strengthen the immune system, especially during the winter, when sunlight, which naturally helps the body produce it, decreases.

But according to health experts, excessive intake of Vitamin "D" can lead to warning signs that require immediately stopping the supplement, the most notable are:

Frequent thirst and urination
Excessive "Vitamin D" can disrupt the balance of fluids and salts, causing severe thirst and frequent urination. It is advisable to limit the dosage to one tablet daily and avoid other sources of the vitamin, along with regular water intake.

Nausea and stomach upset
Feeling nauseous or increased burping indicates irritation of the digestive system. You can take the supplement with food or replace sprays and gummy candy with simple "Vitamin D3" tablets, avoiding fortified beverages or fizzy drinks.

Bone and muscle pain
Increased pain or muscle cramps may be a sign of vitamin overdose. It is recommended to reduce the dosage, drink water, eat mineral-rich foods, with light exercise and stretching to relieve stiffness.

Difficulty concentrating and mental confusion
High calcium levels due to high doses can cause headaches and mental confusion. It is advisable to stick to one tablet of "Vitamin D3," and avoid multicomponent multivitamins.

To avoid any side effects, it is always advised to review all sources of "Vitamin D" being consumed, limit yourself to one supplement a day, and monitor any warning signs that appear on the body.
