Khaberni - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met today, Wednesday, with Nadia Calviño, the president of the European Investment Bank, to discuss ways to expand cooperation for implementing multiple projects in the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness appreciated, during the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the bank's support for Jordan in carrying out vital projects, especially the desalination and water transfer project from Aqaba to Amman (the National Water Carrier Project).
The Crown Prince also held separate meetings with CEOs, founders, and representatives of global companies, which discussed opening new horizons for cooperation and exchanging expertise, thereby enhancing economic and investment growth and contributing to the development of digital skills for Jordanians.
During the meetings, the investment advantages in Jordan were reviewed, such as technical infrastructure services and training programs that support the youth and equip them with the necessary technical and technological skills in the labor market.
The meetings were attended by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zeina Toukan, the Minister of Investment, Dr. Tariq Abu Ghazaleh, and the Director of the Office of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Dr. Zaid Al-Baqa'in.
