Khaberni - The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has banned the sale, consumption, and distribution of energy drinks to those under the age of 18.
The ministry has obliged, in its circular, commercial stores, supermarkets, and malls to place a sticker on display refrigerators and energy drink display areas, which includes a phrase in Arabic: (The sale, consumption, and distribution of energy drinks to those under the age of eighteen is prohibited).
The ministry has also required commercial establishments to separate energy drink products from juices and other drinks in display areas.
