Khaberni - Jude Bellingham, a player for Real Madrid, responded to those who said he overindulges in partying and staying up late, by scoring a goal and celebrating in the "drinking" style, during Real Madrid's crushing 6-1 victory over Monaco in the Champions League.
Bellingham scored Real's sixth goal at the 80th minute in Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and celebrated by mimicking a drinking gesture with his hands.
Spanish media reported during the week that some Real Madrid fans complained about Bellingham spending too much time partying and celebrating, especially given the team's struggles recently.
Bellingham said, "A lot of people say a lot of things. Nowadays, anyone can appear in front of a camera and say whatever they want, and the whole world believes it without any proof."
He added, "I feel there are two ways to handle it: either cry and complain, or send a lawyer, or simply deal with it humorously and enjoy it. It was intended as a joke for the fans and for people who say whatever they want."
He continued: "I know the truth. I know what is actually happening in my personal life. I know what I bring to the game, what I contribute in matches, and what I try to bring to the team. All the outside noise doesn’t really matter, but it's nice to have a bit of humor."
