Khaberni - Italian Destiny Udogie, Tottenham Hotspur fullback, was the victim of a theft incident where thieves broke into his "Range Rover" valued at 150,000 pounds sterling.
The young Italian defender returned to his car after a tough 1-2 home loss against West Ham United to find a new shock awaiting him as he discovered that his car's rear window was shattered and glass covered the interior entirely and inside the trunk was nothing but a water bottle and a clothes hanger, suggesting a cold robbery and tampering scene, but it was a painful reminder of events a few months ago when Udogie was allegedly threatened with a gun by a player agent, which left psychological scars on the 23-year-old player.
The "Daily Mail" reported that the British police quickly intervened and arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of possession of firearms with intent to trade, extort, and threat, while he was later released on bail with ongoing investigations and prohibited from contacting the player or visiting the training ground.
In a statement released after the attack, Tottenham club said: "We have been supporting Destiny and his family since the incident and will continue to do so. Since this is a legal matter, we cannot provide further comments.".
It is noted that Udogie joined the north London castle from Italian Udinese for 15 million pounds sterling, with a five-year contract in the summer of 2022, and then returned on loan to the team based in Udine for one season.
