AlFayez Calls on Youth to Confront Foreign Campaigns Targeting Jordan

Khaberni - Faisal Al-Fayez, the President of the Senate, called on the youth to confront foreign campaigns and electronic flies that target Jordan and its pan-Arab positions, aiming to sow discord and spread chaos in Jordan by defending the nation, its national constants, and its assets by all means and methods.
This took place during a dialogue session organized by Al Qantara Center for Human Resource Development, which occurred at the Senate House today, Tuesday, with around 40 young men and women from Ma'an Governorate, under the title "Youth and National Security: A Responsible Partnership in Protecting Stability and Building the Future".
Al-Fayez reviewed the political and economic challenges that Jordan has been facing since its establishment, especially those related to the energy crisis, the disruption of Egyptian gas, the global financial crisis of 2008, the Arab Spring, the occupation of Iraq, and the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, noting that despite the aggressive and expansionist policies of the Israeli state, Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and with the awareness of its people and the fortitude of its armed forces and security agencies, remains strong and politically stable.
He mentioned that His Majesty the King enjoys great respect from all world leaders, and with his wisdom, political shrewdness, and courage, he has managed to build political and strategic relationships with various countries and influential nations in the international community, granting Jordan a global presence founded on serving national interests and maintaining its security and national constants.
On the domestic front, Al-Fayez confirmed that His Majesty the King always ensures ongoing communication with his people, listening to their concerns, demands, and needs, and directing efforts to find solutions to the various challenges they face.
Regarding the economic challenges facing Jordan, Al-Fayez referred to a series of events that have particularly affected the region and the world in general, casting shadows over the Jordanian economy, emphasizing that the government is earnestly working to implement actions on the ground associated with timed periods and a clear roadmap, aimed at reducing economic challenges.
He highlighted that there are a number of major projects, such as the national carrier project, the railway (Ma'an – Aqaba), the dry port in Ma'an Governorate, the ‘Omrah City’ project, and others, which primarily aim to reduce poverty and unemployment rates.
The dialogue was chaired by Dr. Mustafa Al-Hamarna, the head of the Public Services Committee in the Senate, attended by Rakan Al-Rawad, the General Director of the center, who presented a detailed overview about the center and its activities aimed at supporting micro-projects and entrepreneurial project owners.
He pointed out that the center has a business incubator that supported about 26 projects and 12 women running productive projects, by expanding workspaces, developing projects and products, improving administrative and professional skills, and contributing to enhancing marketing mechanisms.
In turn, the youth spoke about various national issues, chief among them political and economic issues, affirming their allegiance to the Hashemite leadership, their support for His Majesty the King, and their readiness to defend the nation with all their strength and resilience.
They called for enhancing the integration of youth in the joints of political modernization efforts, and creating major projects that contribute to mitigating economic challenges, particularly in light of the rising rates of unemployment and poverty.
