Khaberni - The local committee organizing football events announced the Qatar 2026 festival, which will take place from March 26 to March 31.
The festival will include the Finale Cup 2026, alongside a number of international matches that bring together a selection of teams in preparation for their participation in the Qatar 2026 World Cup, allowing them to assess their technical and competitive readiness before the start of the anticipated global event.
The six scheduled matches within the Qatar Football Festival include the following:
Finale Cup 2026:
The match will be held at the iconic Lusail Stadium on March 27, featuring the European champion Spain and the South American champion Argentina, in a highly anticipated encounter between the continental champions.
International matches:
- March 26: Egypt national team against Saudi Arabia national team at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
- March 26: Qatar national team against Serbia national team at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
- March 30: Egypt national team against Spain national team at Lusail Stadium.
- March 30: Saudi Arabia national team against Serbia national team at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
- March 31: Qatar national team against Argentina national team at Lusail Stadium.
Ticket information:
A range of exclusive travel packages for fans from outside Qatar will be available in collaboration with Visit Qatar, the marketing arm of Qatar Tourism, and Qatar Airways, starting from February 1, 2026. These packages include travel, accommodation, and match tickets.
Ticket sales for fans will begin on the website roadtoqatar.qa starting from February 25, 2026.
In this context, the head of the local organizing committee, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, said: "Qatar continues to reinforce its position as a major hub for the global football community and is currently gearing up to host a selection of international football stars, before the next edition of the World Cup kicks off."
