Artist Tamer Hosny revealed new aspects of his upcoming artistic projects during the coming period, following the public success achieved recently through the film «Restart» and his music album «Lina Ma'ad», announcing his readiness to return to television drama with a new series after a seven-year hiatus, along with a cinematic work he is currently writing in preparation for its soon release in cinemas.
Tamer Hosny said in television statements that he is currently preparing for a new film and series, explaining that both projects are still in the preparation stage, expressing hope that the upcoming works will appeal to the audience when presented.
The last dramatic appearance of Tamer Hosny was through the series «Faraq Tawqit», which was shown during the Ramadan season of 2014, and at that time, it received wide interaction and featured a number of art stars, including Ahmed El Saadany, Dhafer El Abidine, and Mai Selim, along with another group of artists.
Recently, the film «Restart» starring Tamer Hosny was shown in all cinemas, featuring Hana El Zahed, Mohamed Tharwat, Essam El Sakka, Mimi Gamal, Bassem Samra, and was directed by Sarah Wafik.
The events of the film «Restart» unfold in a comedic framework, about Mohamed, a simple phone maintenance technician, who dreams of marrying his girlfriend Afaf, an obscure social media influencer, as they discover that money is the way to achieve their dream, deciding to collaborate with their families in an attempt to achieve fame.
In the music scene, Tamer Hosny released the album «Lina Ma'ad», which includes a number of songs, including «Halal Feek» and «Habibi Ta'alan», along with other works, including «El Maqas» with Reda El Bahrawy, and «Malikat Gamal El Koun» with the Syrian artist El Shami, and «Qaloudah» with the festival singer Ahmed BaHr, known as «Kazbera».
