Khaberni - The artist Ghada Ibrahim obtained an acquittal from the Economic Court in Egypt in a case of defamation, with clarification of the details of what occurred during the investigations.
The Economic Court in Egypt ruled in favor of the artist Ghada Ibrahim in case number 5569 of the year 2026 misdemeanor economic, related to her being charged with defamation, after a period of controversy over the accusations directed against her and the subsequent reactions.
Following the verdict, Ghada Ibrahim posted a picture of the judicial ruling on her official Facebook account, and commented with a message that began with a Quranic verse: «They plan, and Allah plans, and Allah is the best of planners», expressing her appreciation for the Egyptian judiciary and her confidence in the fairness of the law.
In her comment, she clarified that what she faced was not a minor dispute, but rather an attempt at targeting and defamation, as she described it. She pointed out that the lawsuit came from an individual seeking to garner broad publicity and to be at the forefront of attention. She added that the course of the investigations concluded with what she described as uncovering the fabrication of the accusations and completely refuting the claims, affirming her adherence from the beginning to the legal course, without following what had been circulated about her.
The artist also thanked her legal defense team, which included advisors Mohamed Amin, Basem Abdel Rahman, and Amro Abdel Salam, in appreciation of their efforts in pursuing the case and defending her before the relevant investigative authorities. She concluded her comment with the phrase: «God is beautiful in taking the right.. Thank God».
On the artistic front, Ghada Ibrahim participated in the last Ramadan drama season through the series «El Metr Samir», where she appeared in a social comedy framework, and her participation was well received by the audience who praised her presence on screen.
The series belongs to the category of social comedy works, and it revolves around the character «Samir Zaghloul», played by the artist Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, a lawyer who solves other people's problems, while he faces tangled crises in his own life after separating from his wife, in a context that combines comedy and everyday drama.
The series stars several artists, among them Nahed El Sebai, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Sarah Abdel Rahman, Salwa Khattab, Mimi Jamal, Rehab El Gamal, Islam Ibrahim, and Alaa Morsi, and it is written by Mamdouh Metwally, Farouk Hashem, and Mostafa Omar, and directed by Khaled Marei.
