Khaberni - His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, chaired on Monday a regular meeting of the National Council for Future Technology, to discuss the council's progress and future plans.
During the meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, chairman of the council, His Highness the Crown Prince appreciated the efforts of the council members during the first year since its establishment.
The meeting reviewed the initiatives implemented by the council over the past year, especially in the fields of education, health, and improving services for citizens, in addition to the council's future plans and their intended impact.
His Highness stressed the importance of the role of the private sector in adopting artificial intelligence tools and enhancing them, to keep pace with global developments and improve the competitiveness of the local economy.
His Highness the Crown Prince reiterated the importance of developing the council's initiatives and expanding them, in alignment with feedback from service beneficiaries, and working on implementing new initiatives that serve the citizens.
