7490 billion dinars of Ammans industry exports last year an increase of 92

Khaberni - Exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry increased last year by 9.2%, in a clear indication of the geographical expansion of exports to non-traditional African, European, and non-Arab Asian markets.

According to statistical data from the Chamber, exports of Amman's industry reached 7.490 billion dinars last year, compared to 6.860 billion dinars in 2024.

All industrial sectors during the same period experienced growth in their exports except for the construction industries which dropped by a slight percentage of 1%, while the supply industries saw the largest increase by 17.5%.

Four Arab and foreign countries accounted for more than half of the Chamber's exports last year, namely: India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, registering a value of 4.140 billion dinars, compared with 4.119 billion dinars in 2024.

Exports of the Chamber to India during last year increased by 20.3%, reaching 1.211 billion dinars, compared to 1.007 billion dinars in 2024.

Exports of the Chamber to Saudi Arabia increased by 6.7%, recording 855 million dinars last year compared to 801 million dinars in the previous year.

Exports of the Chamber to Iraq last year rose by 4.5%, reaching 1.016 billion dinars compared to 972 million dinars in 2024.


Conversely, exports of the Chamber to the United States last year decreased by 9.1%, falling to 1.217 billion dinars, compared to 1.339 billion dinars in 2024, although it remained at the forefront among Arab and foreign countries receiving exports of Amman's industry.

Statistics also showed an increase in exports of Amman's industry to Syria last year by 268.8%, with the value reaching about 270 million dinars compared to 73 million dinars in 2024.

According to the geographical distribution of the Chamber's exports last year, Arab countries came at the forefront with a value of 3.554 billion dinars, followed by non-Arab Asian countries at 1.759 billion dinars, and North American countries at 1.270 billion dinars.

Exports of Amman's industry to the European Union countries last year, 2025, amounted to about 507 million dinars and to European countries outside the Union 242 million dinars, and to African countries 40 million dinars, South American countries 66 million dinars, and other countries worth 51 million dinars.

Exports of the Chamber during the last year were distributed across mining industries valued at 1.699 billion dinars, chemical and cosmetics products at 1.420 billion dinars, and engineering, electrical, and information technology sectors at 1.258 billion dinars.

Exports from the supply, food, agriculture, and animal resources sectors last year were valued at 986 million dinars, medical industries and supplies at 754 million dinars, and leather and textiles at 527 million dinars.

The remaining exports of the Chamber were distributed across the plastic and rubber industries valued at 315 million dinars, packaging, paper, cardboard, and office supplies at 278 million dinars, and construction industries at 132 million dinars, and lastly, wood industries and furniture about 22 million dinars.

It is worth noting that the Amman Chamber of Industry, which was established in 1962 and currently has 8600 industrial establishments as members, employs 159,000 workers with a capital amounting to about 5 billion dinars.
