European markets close lower

Khaberni - European stocks ended Thursday's trading session lower, losing gains from the previous session amid continuing uncertainty over peace talks in the Middle East.
The European "STOXX 600" index fell by 1.2 percent as most sectors and major exchanges declined, according to CNBC.
The French "CAC 40" index decreased by 0.98 percent to 7769 points, the German "DAX" index fell by 1.64 percent to 22581 points, while the British "FTSE 100" index dropped by 1.33 percent to 9972 points.
The mining and technology sectors led the losses, dropping by 3.4 percent and 2.3 percent respectively, as caution returned to the markets.
