Khaberni - The Syrian news agency reported that Israeli forces penetrated around the villages of Ma'riyah and Abidin in the Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of the Syrian governorate of Daraa, on Saturday.
According to the agency, Mofaq Mahmoud, the mayor of Abidin and Ma'riyah, stated that an Israeli force of 20 soldiers, 3 HiLux vehicles, and a military Jeep were stationed between the two villages from 6 to 8:30 AM, then withdrew.
This came after the penetration of an Israeli force last Friday into the villages of Ain al-Ziwan and Suweisa, in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
Israel continues its assaults and violations of the 1974 disengagement accord by penetrating into southern Syria and attacking the residents since the fall of the previous regime in December 2024.
