She was asked to prepare the food so she stabbed him Shocking confessions of a pregnant Egyptian bride who killed her husband

Khaberni - Egyptian investigative authorities revealed new details in the crime known in the media as the "El-Marg groom" case, in which he was killed by his pregnant wife just about 150 days after their marriage.

In details, the forensic report revealed that the victim suffered a direct and penetrating stab wound in the middle of the chest on the right side, measuring about 15 centimeters, which settled inside the lung, leading to his death due to the injury, in addition to a cut wound on the back of the head, disproving the accused's claim that the knife penetrated his body accidentally during his attempt to snatch it from her.

The report confirmed that the injuries were the result of a direct assault using a blade, which the ongoing investigations have confirmed, concluding that the stabbing was intentional and not accidental.

During the investigations, the accused confessed to committing the act, explaining that the incident occurred following a verbal altercation between them, after he asked her to prepare food despite her feeling highly fatigued due to being in the third month of pregnancy.

The incident dates back to a few days ago, when the El-Marg area east of the Egyptian capital Cairo witnessed a tragic crime inside the marital apartment, resulting in the death of a young man at the hands of his newlywed wife, an incident that shocked the local community.

According to the statements of the victim's family, the marriage took place about five months ago, following a traditional acquaintance between the two families, confirming that the disputes between the spouses were within the scope of usual marital problems, and that the victim was keen on resolving any dispute and worked on bringing his wife back to the marital home whenever she left upset to her family's house.

Meanwhile, the investigative authorities decided to renew the detention of the accused for 15 days pending the case, and charged her with premeditated murder, while the public prosecutor listened to the statements of the victim's sister and a number of witnesses, ordered an autopsy of the body, and requested security investigations surrounding the circumstances of the incident, in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions.
