Khaberni - On Wednesday, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven announced they are prepared to impose additional restrictive measures if Iran continues to suppress protests, in a joint statement issued by France, which holds the presidency of the coalition.
The foreign ministers of Germany, Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom, along with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy, said, "We are deeply concerned about the reports of a large number of deaths and injuries. We strongly condemn the deliberate use of violence, the killing of protesters, their arbitrary arrest, and the threats they face from security forces."
